I am thinking…

By Roo

…that I really have gone off this blog but not off this as a means to stay in touch with friends so not sure what to do. Maybe I could start a brand new blog and it might get me all inspired again to post – or more likely I will just end up with 2 blogs that I don’t post in lol. Any ideas on how to keep this blog going but not feeling pressured to have to blog – maybe I could do an update once a fortnight or something – or maybe do just a photo post every now and then. I just dunno lol. Sorry I haven’t been around much commenting – I do read blogs but it is usually a quick perusal over brekkie. Thank you for emails asking how I am – of which I know there were a couple I didn’t answer – oops soory – they got buried in emails and then deleted – no excuse tho – sorry maties. Anyway all is well with me and mine.
Okay see that’s about as much as I feel like blogging – I’m over it already lol and if I am just coming in ever now and again to apologize for not blogging then it sort of defeats the whole purpose. Oh well i’ll think on it over the next few days and see how I feel.
Anyway hope you re all well and I do think of you all quite often – honest I do.
Take care and catch ya round somewhere sometime.
Crap boring post this is lol

Boo!!!! to you too … Roo …

No need to apologise and it’s quite simple really … if you don’t feel like blogging … don’t!!! No pressure!!! Truly!!!

  2. Penny Says:

Well yeah.. like Miss Frizz says – no need to apologise. If you don’t feel like it, don’t blog.
If you were needing a reason to blog, maybe try doing a 365 photo project, or weekly “everyday life” post a bit like Vicky did.

Yep, I’m not worrying about how much I post these days either. It used to be every couple of days or so, not not so much. Depends on what you want to do with your time really, doesn’t it?

Take the pressure off – don’t blog if you don’t feel like it, but then if you do, you know most of us are going to catch it so that’s good. Showing off your art, an update here or there, capturing something you want to remember or just rant about – all good things to maybe come on line for. Or not :D

So there you are! LOL. I think a lot of people are feeling the same way about blogging and commenting. Don’t worry about it. Glad to know you are OK though.

  5. Trace Says:

Yep, Roo, if it’s not fun, don’t do it. Lifes way to short to spend time worrying about it chick…

    Hey Roo

Ditto what the above five said.

I have lost interest in a big way. Just do it when I feel like it now and it is usually to record/show some crafting. Have cut right back on what blogs I visit now.

I don’t care if anyone comments on my blog either (for the above reasons). Now I password my posts don’t get as many visitors as before. Once again, don’t care about how many hits I get. And now I know exactly who is looking at pictures of my kids etc., I feel a lot better.

You know what Roo? It is awesome to hear from you just whenever you feel like it. :)

AND I always loved looking at your art – whatever form it was in.

Hope you are keeping well :)

Just be true to you and do what YOU feel like. :)

PS. I would rather hang out with the girls at the forum, much more personal and fun than blogging. And you visit when you feel like it, no pressure.

    Am talking about http://www.stampinscrapchch.com/forum

Very small and down to earth and supportive group there. All your online buddies I think. Think I saw your nameo there on the list ;)

I have cut right back on blog reading/commenting. Trying to find time for off-line things (like house cleaning!) I figure that first and formost a blog has to work for you. If it just becomes another obligation, it simply isn’t fun any more.

Have just popped in and whilst I agree with all the above comments … I do have some other advice. Give your blog a makeover in looks etc … and instead of posts write ‘drafts’ … fiddle and fine tune at will, and then, if/once you are happy, publish … I am doing this and finding it is working … rather than sitting down to the whole pressure of doing a complete post all at once … I just ‘play’ with my stories when I feel like it … sometimes short, sometimes longer … the main thing is that you are happy tho …
