Keeping it real

By Roo

I love that saying right now – trying to do more of that – ya know – keeping it real. And I have just stolen that from Sasha’s blog – cos she is such a cool scrapper. Oh oh hope she doesn’t mind me linking here her.

So anyway while on that note a few more lo’s from me.

First one is for the jack me up challenge which finished yesterday but sshh don’t tell them I’m late ok?

I just went with the title of Yvette’s lo and did some of my boys faves right now.

Your fave things by you.

Another Jaymin page – quite the fisherman he is. I still have those fish in the freezer cos they are a bit small to eat but hey I can’t just throw them away.

The fish by you.

Next I love this photo of my Mum taken last Christmas.

xmas hats by you.

And one more just cos – I was just really feeling the love for my son at the time so what better time to do a lo of him and I. We were probably arguing not long after but hey that’s life.

Lucky me by you.

Can you tell I have a new favourite toy? I think I have used it on all these lo’s. I got given it as a freebie back at Crafting Connection 2 years ago and thought then – what the heck – I’m never gonna use this thing. And well I never did until…..I found it the other day and thought i”d give it a try and you know what I love it. Well can you guess? It’s my Heidi Swapp edge distresser – LOVE IT – seriously. Can’t stop using it. It’s just so clever.

And this was my lo for bossy scrapper over at SBD. So much fun. Lizzie was a good boss and I love this lo.

Anyway that’s it – it’s all about the lo’s this time.

Jaymin is still home sick today. Has been since Monday last week so not much happening here – just doing all the good Mummy things.

Laters chickies

And lots of layouts there are too – well done you! I’ve got one of those thingies as well and they are very cool. Does make such a difference. Hope Jaymin feeling better – Aaron does a moan every morning about how he feels sick but soon gets over it as I can’t decide if its for real or not! LOL

That’s lots of layouts! I specially like the ‘how did I get to be so lucky’ one. And I’ve just rediscovered my heidi swapp edge distresser too … I quite like the look and how it covers up the fact that I have a blunt blade in my trimmer!

Hope Jaymin gets well soon, prro guy. Loved your take on the bossy scrapper, I have yet to finish mine, the olympic sketch took up some time. Thats my aim for Tuesday. You have been busy and I like your real scrapping. Loving the use of text (ripped pages) being included. Isn’t it great to rediscover old tools. I have one of those must remember that for next time.
